Irina Foundation

Irina Foundation was created from a desire to turn the unexpected power of storytelling into lasting change.

Co-founded and led by Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady of Accent Aigu Entertainment, the Irina Foundation is rooted in the belief that shared participation can foster inclusivity and strengthen mental well-being and resilience in ways few other approaches can. It envisions a world where LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and underserved communities experience genuine belonging and opportunity through organized sports and arts programs - creating inclusive spaces that build confidence, connection, and a strong sense of community.

Our Mission

Irina Foundation is dedicated to championing inclusivity and mental well-being and resilience by supporting programs that connect people through organized sports and the arts programs, with a focus on LGBTQIA2S+ and underserved communities. It is guided by the principle that welcoming spaces where people can participate, express themselves, and build meaningful connections help individuals thrive and strengthen the communities around them.

The Foundation identifies and supports established nonprofit organizations delivering existing qualifying arts and sports programs whose work aligns with its mission. Through grants and partnerships, it helps connect people with accessible opportunities and resources where they can participate, express themselves, and build meaningful relationships.

The Foundation takes its name from the foundation that Heated Rivalry characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov created in Rachel Reid’s Game Changer book series, which is named after Ilya’s mother, Irina, who struggled with her own mental health.

Irina Foundation is an initiative of Accent Aigu Entertainment (AAE).
